The biological name of the popular known spice called ginger is Zingiber Officinalis, ginger apart from being used in the kitchen has other benefits especially health wise. Ginger has a pungent and somewhat lemon taste. The part of ginger that is used is the root, it can either be used fresh or dry.

It serves as Anti-emetic, Anti-inflammatory, Anti-oxidant, Digestive tonic, Stimulates sweating and also a circulatory stimulant. Ginger is best taken as an infusion, Capsule or a tincture. It is majorly used alongside Garlic.
