Rhythms On Da Runway, organized by KOD’s Nineteen57, is an annual fashion and music event which usually climaxes Ghana’s Independence Day celebrations, but due to the recent Covid-19 pandemic which struck the whole world affected this years timeline edition.
The Ghanaian fashion landscape over the years have been blessed with the invention of Rhythms On Da Runway from the very first edition all the way to last years “THE YEAR OF RETURN” edition which was a huge success. It featured designers from across the continent such as Mudi, Ophelia Crossland, Velma Accessories, Abrantie the gentleman and a host of other notable designers saw their designs being strut on the runway by some of the best models from Ghana. Last year, the BBC described it as the biggest cultural exposé in Africa.
Organizers of the show have already started earnest preparations for this years edition which would be launched on Thursday 8th October, 2020 at the plush African Regent Hotel in Accra-Ghana.
