- Implementing its new Carbon Core Guard technology.
G-SHOCK has just managed to make its metallic G-STEEL line even stronger.
Introducing the new GST-B300, which features a hybrid digital and analog dial, the company has now upgraded its body with its Carbon Core Guard found in the brand’s other models such as the new Mudmaster, both cutting weight whilst increasing structural rigidity and toughness. The watch’s shock resistance is further enhanced by the same carbon resin used for the front and side buttons, a design completely new to the G-STEEL roster. Finishing off the beater is a battery indicator at 6 o’clock, Bluetooth connectivity with G-SHOCK’s mobile app, up to five multi-function alarms, a Tough Solar power feature, a stopwatch, a world time function, a countdown timer, and even a power-saving function that can keep your timepiece running for up to 19 months.
There’s yet to be an official release date or pricing information on the new G-STEEL model, so those interested should definitely keep an eye out for its drop on G-SHOCK’s website.
