- The black and white Zoom Air-equipped runner returns.
It seems that running-cum-lifestyle sneakers are having a revival, as Nike has just announced it will be re-releasing the 2012 Flyknit Trainer in its OG colorway of black and white.
The news follows on from adidas’ revelation yesterday, announcing it would be re-releasing the rivaling OG UltraBOOST 1.0 “Triple White.” For Nike’s 2020 debut of the OG Flyknit Trainer, it keeps everything as it were in 2012 — from the shape to the color and tech.
This iconic running shoe combines Zoom Air technology in the sole unit with an ultra-lightweight body made from the swoosh’s signature Flyknit material. The pair incorporates Flywire nylon fabric into its upper for added strength, with all the fabrics working together to hug and support the foot.
Nike previously dropped the pair back in 2018. Now, it offers sneakerheads another chance to get their hands on a pair on May 10 via Nike’s website. A price is yet to be announced. Take a closer look at the Nike Flyknit Trainer in black and white in the gallery above.
