- 6ix9ine – Trollz feat. Nicki Minaj
6ix9ine comes through with yet another impressive single “Trollz” tapping Nicki Minaj.
This track also received the visual treatment, similar to his last song “Gooba” that dropped in May. “Trollz” was originally set to release on June 5 but because of the protests that have occurred across the country over the killing of George Floyd, 6ix9ine decided to move the release back a week. Prior to its release, 6ix9ine also went on Instagram Live and went after Meek Mill, Future, and Roc Nation Chief Operating Officer Desiree Perez.
Earlier this week Nicki Minaj announced that a “portion” of the proceeds and merch sales will be going directly towards the Bail Fund Inc.
“A portion of the proceeds from #Trollz including merch items, will be going directly to The Bail Project Inc. [@bailproject],” Nicki shared on Instagram. “The fund provides free bail assistance to low-income individuals who can’t afford to pay bail while awaiting their trial.”
“Trollz” isn’t the first time that Nicki and 6ix9ine have collaborated together, the last time being on the Murda Beatz produced track “FEFE” that dropped back in July of 2018 and now has over 800 million views on Youtube. 6ix9ine also recently previewed another collaboration he has on the way, sharing a video of him rapping over Akon’s 2004 single “Locked Up.”
