As of this writing, The Invisible Man is 91% on Rotten Tomatoes, and reviews for the film have been largely positive, with some negative reviews. This, coupled with the film’s meager budget of just $ 7 million, when the first weekend is estimated to exceed $20 million in gross sales, means that the film will be marked as a success.
Universal’s hesitation to revive the Dark Universe before The Mummy of 2017 failed, but given that The Invisible Man is a promising asset, and Whitnell left it open for a sequel, it’s highly likely that in the future Possible Currently, Universal won’t. has announced that a sequel has been given the green light.

In the 2020 edition of Invisible Man, the film will focus on Cecilia Cass’s toxic relationship as she tries to shed that relationship with Adrian Griffin.
